The May 2025 3D Embossing Folder of the Month from Spellbinders is a whole embossing folder full of beautifully detailed book spines. I created an A2 card but a 5 x 7 card would really show off this folder.
1. Lightly spray a half sheet of white cardstock with water and emboss using the May 3D Embossing Folder of the Month.
2. Using a low tack tape like Mint Tape, mask off one section at a time and blend on a rainbow of inks. Start heavier at one end getting lighter to other end.
3. Cut out portion of embossed panel to 4 1/4 x 5” and adhere to an A2 card base.
4. Hot foil a sentiment from the May Glimmer of the Month with Opaque Black Hot Foil Roll. Cut into a strip.
5. Die cut cat from May Stitching Die of the Month out of Anchor ColorWheel Cardstock.
6. Adhere cat and sentiment overlapping with thin foam squares.
