Welcome to the Spellbinders May Clubs Blog Hop! You should have come here from Sarah’s blog. My card focuses on the Stencil of the Month so I’ve used the four piece layering stencil called Write On for a monochromatic background.

1. On a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2” panel of Seaside ColorWheel Cardstock, blend over layer one of the May Stencil of the Month with Mist Core Ink for a third of panel. Add Paradise Core Ink to the next third and Aegean Core Ink for the final third.
2. Replace with stencil number two and use the same inks.
3. Place stencil three then add Paradise, Aegean and Bermuda Core Ink.
4. Before using the fourth stencil, blend a light layer of Bermuda over the corresponding section on panel. Switch to the next lightest color or just soften the blend more.

5. Use stencil four to add Aegean, Bermuda and Aquatic Core Inks.
6. Leaving stencil four in place, add a light layer of Translucent Crackle Paste.
7. Die cut pieces from the May Small Die of the Month out of Beeswax, Rainforest, Seaside, Teal Topaz, Blue Spruce and Raven ColorWheel Cardstock.
8. Add a bit of shading to die cuts with Butter Bar, Pine and Bermuda Core Inks.

9. Create sentiment from the May BetterPress of the Month using Black BetterPress Ink on Porcelain A2 BetterPress Cotton Card panel. Cut out with coordinating die.
10. Cut panel to 4 x 5 1/4 and adhere to an A2 panel of Teal Topaz ColorWheel Cardstock. Adhere to an A2 card base.
11. Assemble die cuts and adhere to card along with sentiment using thin foam squares.
