Today I’ve got a card that pairs two of the June Hero Studio Subscriptions! The July Cling Stamp of the Month is such fun as a background. I love the arms and leg dies from the July Card Kit of the Month.
1. Lay July Cling Stamp of the Month upside down on a glass mat. Ink with Butter Bar Core Ink, lay a panel of Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock over stamp and rub your fingers over cardstock. This gave me a messy less perfect stamping for the background.
2. Die cut the pieces from the July Card Kit of the Month out of
- Arms/Legs – Chiffon ColorWheel Cardstock
- Shorts – Windy and Celestial ColorWheel Cardstock
- Shoes – Poppy and Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock
- Cup – Fawn, Classic White, Raven ColorWheel Cardstock
3. Assemble the die cut pieces with liquid glue. I cut an extra show out of white and cut out the white sole pieces and adhered them to the red shoes.
4. Cut the stamped panel to 4 x 5 1/4” and adhere to an A2 card base. Adhere die cuts with thin foam squares.
5. Stamp sentiment from the July Card Kit of the Month using Periwinkle Core Ink. Cut out with coordinating die then cut out twice from Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock and once from Celestial ColorWheel Cardstock. Adhere together with the blue piece offset. Add to card.
