It’s Day 2 of the Craft-O-Ween Advent Calendar from Spellbinders! I had so much fun with this stencil background and it works beautifully with the die cuts. As far as I know, it is sold out everywhere but you can substitute a different die cut image.
1. Stencil background using August 2025 Hero Studio Layering Stencils of the Month on Peridot ColorWheel Cardstock with Granite Core Ink for first stencil then add a layer of Kiwi Core Inke over butterflies. Use Charcoal Core Ink for stencils 2 and 4. For stencil 3 use Granite Core Ink.
2. Go over entire panel with a gray blending brush without adding ink then blend Charcoal Core Ink to edges. Splatter with Raven Splatter Effects. Let dry.
3. Die cut pieces from Craft-O-Ween Day 3 using Acorn, Truffle and Lilac ColorWheel Cardstock plus Onyx and Antique White Assorted Treasured Cardstock.
4. Blend on Charcoal Core Ink to edges of ColorWheel Cardstock only. Assemble using liquid glue.
5. Stamp sentiment from Craft-O-Ween box on Peridot ColorWheel Cardstock with Pitch Black Core Ink. Cut into a strip and rub edges with Charcoal Core Ink pad.
6. Adhere panel to an A2 card base then adhere die cut image and sentiment with thin foam squares. Finish with purple sequins from Craft-O-Ween box.
