Welcome to the October Hero Studio Blog Hop and Giveaway! It’s time to sparkle and shine with fabulous holiday kits! I’m absolutely in love with the disco balls in the October Card Kit of the Month and the sentiments are so fun!

October 2025 Card Kit of the Month

    Kit Includes:

           • Deck the Halls with Disco Balls 6×8 Stamp Set
           • Deck the Halls with Disco Balls Coordinating Dies
           • Have a Ball Die Set
           • Gold Embossing Powder .5 oz
           • 10 Sheets of Cardstock- 1 of each color, 5.5″ x 8.5″ (Poppy, Dahlia, Tutu, Blush, 
                    Alabaster, Beeswax, Tuscan, Fern, Seaside, Waterfall)
           • Two Sheets of Gold Matte Paper, 5.5″ x 8.5″ 

1. Die cut the pieces for the Have a Ball Die Set included in the October Card Kit of the Month out of Tutu, Dahlia, Blush ColorWheel Cardstock and Gold Matte Paper. The bow was cut with Tutu and Dahlia.

For easier paper piecing, use Press and Seal on the back of the die cut disco balls with all inner pieces in place except the gold.

2. Die cut a Circle Infinity Die slightly smaller than the disco ball and adhere behind gold one. Place all three pink die cut pieces randomly in openings on disco ball. Spray disco ball and bow with White Iridescent Shimmer Mist. Let dry.

3. Stamp the October Cling Stamp of the Month on Seaside ColorWheel Cardstock using Mist Core Ink. Adhere to an A2 card base.

4. Stamp sentiment from October Card Kit of the Month on Tutu ColorWheel Cardstock using Azalea Core Ink. Cut out with coordinating die then twice more. Adhere together.

5. Adhere disco ball to card with thin foam squares then use liquid glue to add bow and sentiment. Add star die cuts with thin foam squares throughout card.

1. Heat emboss the images included in the October Stamp and Cut of the Month on various ColorWheel Cardstock colors using White Detail Embossing Powder. Cut out with coordinating dies.

For ornaments, I heat embossed the ornament first then added detail or sentiment.

2. Stamp a panel of Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock with the October Cling Stamp of the Month using Mist Core Ink. Adhere to an A2 card base.

3. Draw a line using black fine line pen from top of card so they look as if they are hanging. Alternately, you can use the stamp included in the October Stamp and Cut.

4. Adhere ornaments with thin foam squares. Add accessories with liquid glue and foam squares when needed.

5. Add Pink Translucent Enamel Dots to flower centers.
