The Spellbinders Starry Holiday Collection by Dina Wakley consists of three BetterPress sets and an A2 size 3D embossing folder. I incorporated the 3D embossing folder in a different way than I typically do but I look forward to using it on its own soon.
All three cards began with following the registration template for each set. I used Tuscan, Strawberry, Pine, Bark, Malachite and Cruise BetterPress Inks. The sentiments for the Merry, Merry, Merry Bird Registration Plate and Die Set and Cheer and Good Tidings Deer Registration Plate and Die Set I created them with Black BetterPress Ink. And cut them out with coordinating dies.
My original plan was to create each image then cut with a coordinating die twice. I intended to color them but in the end I liked how they looked with just the outline.
For the Starry Merry Christmas Registration Plate and Die Set, I did create the images a second time. I die cut them then die cut blanks twice more and adhered them together and to panel.
I cut the panels down, eliminating as much of the bare portions of each panel then adhered them to another panel embossed with the Stars and Fronds Frame 3D Embossing Folder. I finished each with a few Aura, Aquamarine and Red Color Essentials Gems.
