The Tabbed Classics Collection from Spellbinders and Wendy Vecchi works great on its own, as I’ve used it today, or with her previous Not Your Ordinary Card Collection. The collection features two die sets, a stamp set, and two embossing folder, one of which has coordinating stencils.
1. Emboss an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 panel of white cardstock with the Polka Dot and Posy Duo 3D Embossing Folder. Cut in half to create two card panels.
2. Using Dew Pawsitively Saturated Ink, add ink to polka dot panel with a blending brush from center out.
3. Using Dew, Mist and Raindrop Pawsitively Saturated Inks, add ink to posy panel with a blending brush from bottom.
4. Emboss an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 panel of white cardstock with the Thank You Bouquet 3D Emboss and Cut.
5. Use the coordinating Layered Thank You Bouquet Stencil to color the die cut bouquet. I used Punch, Sangria, Cabbage, Artichoke, Nutmeg, Paprika and Allspice Pawsitively Saturated Inks.
6. For the individual embossed and cut flowers, I blended on Melon, Cantaloupe, Lemon, Sunbeam and Paprika Pawsitively Saturated Inks.
7. Cut panels to 4 x 5 1/4”. Adhere die cuts to panels with thin foam squares.
8. Add Smoky Topaz Color Essentials Gems to flower centers.
9. Create the sentiments using the Ideal Moments Press Plate and Die set and Cosmic Sky BetterPress Ink. Cut out with coordinating die and adhere to cards with thin foam squares.
