Hero Arts January 2026 My Monthly Super Hero

The January My Monthly Super Hero from Hero Arts sold out amazingly fast but I still wanted to share this card created with it. You can still subscribe to the January My Monthly Hero. You can take the tips I’m sharing here today and use them with other stamps.

Using ink cubes makes it easier to add multiple colors to the stamp from the January My Monthly Super Hero.

It might be easier to stamp the “breaking news” a second time on another piece of white cardstock and die cut this piece of cardstock instead of the full panel.

Place a coordinating color of cardstock under the die cuts for subtle interest.

Add flowers or hearts cut from coordinating cardstock to for a finishing touch.

Idea: Stamp a cling stamp background in Couture Ink and splatter with Black Speckle before adding die cuts panel.

Thanks for visiting!

  1. I use the Hero Arts Reactive inks. In this Blog it mentioned using Couture Ink. I don’t understand what that ink is. Could you explain the difference in inks. Why would you use Couture ink if you can use the reactive inks? Thank you. I signed up for the regular Hero Arts Kit. Can’t wait for it to arrive!!
    I do like your card!

    1. Hi! The Couture Ink is Hero Arts version of ink that’s used for no line coloring. It’s a very light warm gray when stamped but it you ink and stamp a few times you get a lovely light background. You could also get a similar result doing second or third generation stamping with a darker ink. Hope that helps!
