The Egg-stra Special Collection from Hero Arts is an adorable collection of mostly Easter/Spring products but several of them can be used year round. For example the Daisy Cover Plate Die can be used for any number of card types and the bunny images are fun to add to playful cards with a different sentiment set. Today, though, my card is Easter themed because I love the Happy Easter Letterpress and Foil and Cut!
1. Ink up the egg from the Happy Easter Letterpress and Foil and Cut using Turquoise and Lime BetterPress Inks. Cut out with coordinating die.
2. Splatter the egg die cut with Black Acrylic Speckle mixed with some Brown Acrylic Speckle. Let dry.
3. Impress the sentiment from the Happy Easter Letterpress and Foil and Cut using Tawny Brown BetterPress Ink. Cut out with coordinating die plus twice more from white cardstock. Adhere together.
4. Stamp chicks from Color My World Stamp and Cut Set using Intensified Black Ink. Color using colored pencils cut out with coordinating dies.
5. Stamp sentiment from Color My World Stamp and Cut Set using Espresso Core Ink. Cut out with coordinating die.
6. Die cut Daisy Cover Plate Die twice from Alabaster ColorWheel Cardstock. Adhere together then to a solid piece of Alabaster ColorWheel Cardstock.
7. Adhere egg, sentiments and images to alabaster panel using liquid glue and thin foam squares.
8. Finish with a few sequins near sentiment.
