My intention was to create a clean and simple card using the Daisy Cover Plate Die from Hero Arts. Dozens of little pieces of foam tape later, it definitely wasn’t a simple card anymore. I still think the card turned out great.

1. Die cut the Daisy Cover Plate Die from Classic White Cardstock. Try to keep all the pieces in the die.
2. Place a piece of Glad Press and Seal on the back of the cover plate in order to remove die cuts from die still in place. Remove die, pressing die cuts into press and seal as needed.
3. Once die has been removed, place another piece of Glad Press and Seal over the front of the die cut panel with everything still in place. Remove the back piece, keeping everything with the front piece.
4. Adhere small amounts of Thin Foam Adhesive to the backs of each petal.

5. Cut a piece of Oceanside ColorWheel Cardstock to 4 x 5 1/4”. Remove foam tape backer and place cover plate die cuts on panel to adhere only petals.
6. Adhere panel to an A2 card base.
7. Place Fashion Gold Embellishments to center of each flower.
8. Stamp the sentiments from Everyday Sentiment Strips 2 with Intens-ified Black Ink and cut out with Sentiment Strips Fancy Die. Cut a strip from gold cardstock, adhere offset to each sentiment then add to card.
Of course, I could have simplified things by using liquid glue inside of foam tape. Thanks for visiting!
