It’s all about birthdays in the May 2026 My Monthly Hero and My Monthly Super Hero from Hero Arts and May is my birthday month too! The card I’m sharing today uses products from the My Monthly Super Hero. I love the large balloon that can be turned into a shaker as well and it’s so great to have alphabet dies included in the kit.

1. Die cut the balloon from the May My Monthly Super Hero from Waterfall ColorWheel Cardstock. Cut the highlights from Seaside and Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock. Adhere to an A2 panel.
2. Cut the letters for HAPPY three times each from Blush, Tutu, Dahlia, Coral and Carrot ColorWheel Cardstock. Adhere together.
3. Die cut the script “birthday” from all five colors used in step two once and Antique White Glitter Cardstock. Adhere together.
4. Line up the HAPPY die cuts along a raised straight edge. Hold together with a piece of Best Ever Craft Tape and adhere to panel.

5. Adhere the birthday die cut so that it overlaps the first word.
6. Add string cut from Antique White Glitter Cardstock to balloon and bow cut from Seaside ColorWheel Cardstock.
7. Add tassels to balloon cut from previous colors.
8. Cut panel to 4 x 5 1/4 and adhere to an A2 card base.
9. Add various colors of enamel dots in Translucent Aquas and Translucent Sunset to card.
Head to Hero Arts to subscribe to the My Monthly Super Hero. I wouldn’t be surprised if this month sells out fast. Thanks for visiting!
