Hero Arts May 2026 My Monthly Super Hero Shaker Card

Here’s another card I made using the May My Monthly Super Hero Kit. I made this card for my daughter for her 20th birthday last month. She loves glitter and rainbows so it was perfect!

1. Stencil the background with a rainbow of ink colors. I used the stencil from the Friendship Stamp Along, which hasn’t been released for purchase outside of the kit but most any stencil will work. Ink colors are listed and linked below.

2. Splatter panel with Splatter Effects. Let dry.

3. Die cut the balloon frame from the May My Monthly Super Hero Kit once from Antique White Glitter Cardstock and five times from white cardstock. Adhere all but the glitter layer together.

4. Die cut the solid balloon from the May My Monthly Super Hero Kit out of heat safe acetate. Use the glitter frame to position the stamp in a stamp positioning tool and heat emboss with White Detail Embossing Powder.

5. Adhere glitter frame to acetate. Let dry.

6. Die cut the circles from the May My Monthly Super Hero Kit out of rainbow of ColorWheel Cardstock so there are six of each color. Colors listed and linked below.

7. Adhere the layered frames to the stenciled panel then add circle die cuts and Chunky Distress Glitter. Add acetate and glitter cardstock piece on top to seal it.

8. Cut the balloon string from Antique White Glitter Cardstock and the bow from Breeze ColorWheel Cardstock. Adhere to panel.

9. Add panel to an A2 card base the finish with a few Clear Enamel Dots.

Head to Hero Arts to subscribe to the My Monthly Super Hero. I wouldn’t be surprised if this month sells out fast. Thanks for visiting!
