The July Embossing Folder of the Month from Spellbinders creates the look of a gorgeous cable knit sweater. It was a perfect background for my sliding penguin from the July Small Die of the Month.
1. Die cut two panels of white cardstock using the largest two Perfect Touch Dies. Adhere largest to an A2 card base.
2. Emboss the smaller panel using the July Embossing Folder of the Month. Adhere to card.
3. Die cut the sliding penguin and scarf from the July Small Die of the Month out of Raven, Classic White, Blush, Carrot, Malibu and Orchid ColorWheel Cardstock. Assemble using liquid glue.
4. Die cut the sentiment from the July Small Die of the Month out of Mulberry and Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock. Die cut a second solid piece out of Antique White Glitter Cardstock.
5. Adhere penguin and sentiment to card using thin foam squares.
6. Die cut snowflakes from the July Small Die of the Month out of Antique White Glitter Cardstock and adhere to card. Add an Opal Color Essentials Gem to the center of the snowflakes.
7. Finish with white gel pen highlights to penguin.
