I absolutely love making Halloween cards so the August Small Die of the Month from Spellbinders was so much fun to create with! Plus this was the first time I’d used the new Small Card Spinners. They are so fun!
1. Emboss a panel of Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock using the August 3D Embossing Folder of the Month.
2. Blend Black Soot Distress Oxide to the edges of the embossed panel then splatter with Raven Splatter Effects. Let dry.
3. Die cut the pieces from the August Small Die of the Month out of a variety of colored and speciality cardstocks listed and linked below.
4. Heat emboss the sentiment from the August Clear Stamp and Die of the Month using White Detail Embossing Powder on Raven ColorWheel Cardstock. Cut out with coordinating die.
5. Assemble and adhere all die cuts and sentiment to card except ghost using liquid glue and foam squares.
6. Die cut the open book from the August My Monthly Hero out of Onyx and teal glitter cardstock. Adhere together and then adhere to ghost with liquid glue at the bottom and foam squares at the top.
7. Adhere the ghost to a Small Card Spinner with liquid glue the adhere to card.
