I had loads of fun using the Vintage Vinyl Collection from Hero Arts! I wanted to make at least one of the cards more masculine. I searched for color palettes and ended up finding two that shared colors but achieved a different effect.
1. Stencil a panel of Fawn ColorWheel Cardstock using the Twinkle Toes Layering Stencils with Uncharted Mariner, Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide and Black Texture Paste. Let dry.
2. Die cut the Record Collection Die Set out of Oceanside and Carrot ColorWheel Cardstock. Adhere records together with the opposite color to center of records.
3. Die cut stenciled panel using Record Collection Die Set. Fold along score lines and adhere together.
4. Stamp sentiments from Vintage Vinyl Stamp and Cut on Oceanside and Carrot ColorWheel Cardstock with Obsidian Pigment Ink. Cut out with coordinating dies. Cut the one for the record once more and ones for album cover twice more. Adhere together then to records and cover.
1. Stencil the Flower Power Layering Stencils using a panel of Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock with Saltwater Taffy, Evergreen Bough, Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide and Hero Pearl Paste. Let dry.
2. Die cut pieces from Drop the Needle Die Set out Tutu, Carrot, Classic White, Waterfall ColorWheel Cardstock and Antique White Glitter Cardstock.
3. Die cut record from Drop the Needle Die Set out of stenciled panel.
4. Adhere record to an A2 panel of Malibu ColorWheel Cardstock then add the rest of the die cut pieces all with liquid glue except arm, adhered with thin foam adhesive.
5. Heat emboss sentiments from Solid Gold Stamp and Cut using White Detail Embossing Powder on Tutu and Carrot ColorWheel Cardstock. Cut out with coordinating dies. Cut twice more for both. Adhere together.
6. Adhere sentiments to panel then panel to an A2 card base.
