Hello! Today, I’m excited to share a card using another new collection from Spellbinders. The cards in this post were a little time consuming so today, I tried to keep things simpler.

1. Die cut the large flower and a few small ones from the Simply Perfect Layered Blooms die set out of Papaya and Pumpkin cardstocks. Cut the leaves from Meadow and Jelly Bean Green cardstocks. Cut the inner pieces from gold cardstock.

Note: the Layered Blooms die set is out of stock at Spellbinders right now but you can get it at scrapbook.com here.

2. Using the the largest glimmer plate from the February Glimmer of the Month, foil on Hero Arts Adriatic cardstock. Foil the third largest plate on Hero Arts Paradise cardstock. Cut them to size. I used Aura Foil.

3. Foil the sentiment from the Mini Everyday Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate set onto Nautical cardstock also using Aura Foil. Cut to size with die from set.

4. Assemble all of the die cut pieces. I used Bearly Art Precision glue with only a small bit of glue to join them so I could fluff the flowers and leaves.

5. Arrange die cuts on card. Lift them as one with press and seal. Flip over. Add liquid glue to all but the large flower. Place on Arctic panel. Add large flower with foam tape.

6. Add sentiment below florals with foam tape.

7. Add Arctic panel to larger Adriatic panel with foam tape.

8. Add Adriatic panel to White A2 card base with double sided adhesive.

9. Add sequins with liquid glue.

This card is a made simpler by using colored cardstock and by trying to keep the floral arrangement smaller. I reigned it in to just one main flower surrounded by leaves. The minimal color palette also help to keep things simple.
