Hello! I like to make detailed cards that take a lot of time but not all stamps need a detailed card. Sometimes a simple card is best. That’s what I’m sharing today.

1. Stamp image from Thank You Kindly stamp set on Neenah Solar white cardstock, color and cut out with coordinating dies.

2. Add Ocean Breeze ink on 4 1/4 x 5 1/2” white cardstock with a blender brush spreading just slightly wider than the image.

4. Die cut two blanks of the image and adhere together with liquid glue.

3. Place Script Bold Prints stamp and cardstock in Misti. Ink up a small portion of stamp that will cover ink blended area. Smooth the edges with a blender brush and stamp cardstock. Repeat if necessary.

5. Stamp sentiment on black cardstock with Embossing and Watermark Ink. Sprinkle with White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. Fussy cut it out.

Alternatively, you could stamp the sentiment directly to card panel. I attempted this but I didn’t like the ink color I chose. Black would have been better.

6. Cut panel down to 4” x 5 1/4” making sure your background is centered.

7. Adhere image and sentiment with liquid glue.

8. Add pink heart with liquid glue.

9. Adhere panel to a white A2 card base with foam tape.

This card was so easy to put together. That background really complements the image perfectly. I think cutting the panel down and popping it on foam tape adds interest to a very simple card.
