Hello! It’s time for a new challenge at A Blog Named Hero and this month is all about Repetition. You have until July 26 to enter your own project, but for now I hope you’ll be inspired by my card and the projects the other design team members create!

Full supply list can be found at the bottom of this post.

1. Stamp the Candles Bold Prints on a piece of 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock with Soft Granite Ink.

2. Die cut the word celebrate from the Birthday Stamp and Cut XL set from the following colors: Lapis, Papaya, Canary, Meadow, Cranberry, Lavendar

3. Begin adhering the die cut words to the panel with liquid glue. I started with the word towards the center that is the only complete word on the panel and worked out from there in rainbow order.

4. When you have adhered all the words once, cut off the excess and begin filling in the panel with these pieces. At this point you may need to cut the word a few more times to finish it off.

5. Stamp the sentiment with Embossing and Watermark Ink onto Pitch Black Cardstock. Sprinkle with White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. Cut to a strip and adhere with foam tape above the complete word.

6. Add Sparkle Clear Lacquer Pen over complete word and allow to dry.

7. Adhere panel to and A2 card base.

8. Add small and large stars throughout card with liquid glue.

I must admit, I found this challenge so much fun. I had to try a few things before I finally settled on this design. I also regret not cutting the panel down to 4” x 5 1/4” and adding it to a card base with foam tape. I think the white border would have helped the design a bit.
