Copic Colored Christmas – Colorado Craft Company

Hello! I made my first Christmas card using Colorado Craft Company stamps. It started out as a slimline card but I’m much happier with how it ended up.

I stamped the Big and Bold Vintage Santa onto white cardstock with Gina K Designs Amalgam Ink in Obsidian. I colored the image with Copic markers:

Hat & body – R22, R24, R27, R39

Fur – C1, C3

Face – E00, E11, E13

Beard/hair – W1, W3, W5

Background – BG90, BG93, BG96, BG99

Since the width of the panel was already 3 1/4” I cut the height down to 4 1/2” to make it proportional.

I stamped “Believe” onto vellum with Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. I added Wow Embossing Glitter in neutral shimmer and heat embossed it.

I cut the vellum slightly taller than the word and wider than the panel. I added 1/8” double sided adhesive to the sides and wrapped them around the back.

I stamped the Big and Bold Holiday Ornament in Hero Arts Embossing and Watermark Ink on white cardstock and heat embossed with the same Embossing Glitter. I cut the panel to 3 3/4” x 5”.

I added foam tape to the colored panel and the embossed panel and adhered them together onto a Gina K Designs Red Velvet A2 card base.

I have a few more Christmas stamps from Colorado Craft Company. I hope to get to work on them very soon!

Have you started making Christmas cards yet? I’ve made so many already this year, I won’t be in a mad rush come December!
