Hello! I’m so excited to be a part of the blog hop celebrating the new release of stamps in the Anita Jeram Collection from Colorado Craft Company. I’ve loved this collection since the minute I saw it back in September and my love has just grown. I love making scene cards so I paired some of the new stamps with previously released ones to create two fabulous scenes!

Free US shipping and $5.95 international shipping April 12-13. Use code: FREESHIPPINGJK

Be sure to read to the end for details on the giveaway!

I did not have the dies when I made these cards but they are available. You can avoid masking if you use them.

1. Cut Neenah Solar White cardstock to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. I used these stamp sets today:

2. Lay out the stamps to create your scene. Remember the images that you want at the front should be stamped first, the furthest back stamped last. To mask the frame, I covered the edges in Mint Tape.

3. Stamp images onto card panel using Gina K Designs Amalgam ink in Obsidian. Before you move on, stamp a mask on masking paper of some kind and cut out. Place the mask over the image before moving on to the next layer.

4. Color the images with Copic Markers. I used the following:

Artist card

  • Mouse on floor-W1, W3, W5, W7
  • Mouse in tree-E53, E55, E57, E59
  • Walls- BV0000
  • windows, floors and flowers-N0, N2, N4, N8
  • Flowers- Y11, Y15, Y17, RV00, RV02, RV04, RV66, R30, R32, R35, R39, YG03, YG13, YG17
  • Window scene- YG03, YG13, YG17, BG000

Father’s Day Card

  • Mice-E53, E55, E57, E59
  • Chair-B93, B95, B97, B99
  • Toys-R30, R32, R35, YR00, YR02, YR07, YG17, YG03
  • Floor-E53, E55, E57, E59
  • Wall-BG70
  • Window-N0, N2
  • Cat-W1, W3, W5, W7
  • Plants-YG93, YG96, YG99, BG95, BG97, BG99, G21, G24, G28
  • Window Scene-BG000, YG03, YG13, YG17
  • Newspaper-W1

5. Finish the card off with white gel pen highlights, glitter brush marker and black gel pen for the eyes. I added white dots and stars around the colored flowers to add a sense of “magic” to the artist card. The background should have been darker so they’d be more prominent.

6. Stamp sentiment. I used Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink for the artist card and Embossing and Watermark Ink along with White Detail Embossing Powder for the Father’s Day card.

7. Adhere to a white A2 card base.
