Hello! It’s so exciting to see the new Anita Jeram stamps and dies released each month from Colorado Craft Company and this month is no exception! As some of you may know, I have a 13 week old chocolate labrador named Lilo, who inspired this interactive card.

Read through to the bottom for GIVEAWAY information!

1. Begin with a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock cut to 8 1/2” x 3 1/2”.

2. Blend on Salvaged Patina Distress Ink. Starting from the center, blend gently outward getting lighter and not completely reaching the edges. Slowly build up the color.

3. Stamp sentiment from the Watch This stamp set with Embossing and Watermark Ink, sprinkle on Salvaged Patina Distress Embossing Glaze and heat set.

4. Splatter the distress ink, shimmer spray and white gouache all over the panel. Set aside to dry.

5. Stamp images from Watch This stamp set with Gina K Designs Amalgam Ink in Obsidian. Color with Copic Markers: W1, W3, RV13, RV14, RV17, RV21, 0. Die cut images with coordinating dies.

6. Cut the panel down to 3 1/4” x 8 1/4”

7. Die cut the panel with a slider die. Be sure to save the cut piece and add it to card base. Add an adhesive foam circle (it has to be circular for it to spin), then a penny and another foam circle. Place in slider then one more penny.

8. Add a double layer of foam tape to the back of the panel. Be sure it’s not close enough to the penny to interfere with the spinner. Add to a slimline card base.

9. For the dog image that is balancing the bone: After die cutting the image, cut off both bones. Color any extra black lines with a white gel pen.

10. Adhere images to card panel at each end. Place balls where the bones previously were. I used Bearly Arts Precision Glue. Add highlights with a white gel pen.

This was such a fun card to make! I love the simple, high contrast colors used. I love an interactive card! To watch the spinning dog in action, head to my Instagram page.

Colorado Craft Company is giving away a $25 store voucher. To be eligible, leave a comment on my blog and on every other blog along the hop between now and May 18. I will announce the winner on May 20. Scroll down for the blog hop list.
