Hello! The newest release from Hero Arts this month is so amazing! Isn’t this set absolutely adorable? I stamped and colored all the images, some multiple times. The add ons are incredible and I plan to order several of them. Be sure to read all the way through for giveaway information and links to the rest of the designers in the hop.

Kit Contents:
• 6″ x 8″ Clear Stamp Set
• 18 Coordinating Frame Cuts
• 3 Dye Ink Cubes (Green Hills, Soft Purple, Pale Tomato)
• Mushroom Washi Tape
• Stardust Sequins

Kit Value: $72
Kit Cost: $34.99

Pre-order your kit today – we estimate kit shipping will begin Friday, July 9th and continue throughout the following week.

1. Stamp the images with Intens-ified Black Ink, color and die cut images from the July My Monthly Hero kit. I used the following Copic markers: E00, E11, E13, E41, E43, E44, E47, E55, R32, R35, R37, YG17, YG13, Y15, Y17, B32, B34, B41, RV00, RV11, RV13, V000, V12, V15, W0, W1

2. Arrange images on Neenah Solar White cardstock cut to 4” x 5 1/4” and determine placement of sentiment.

3. Stamp the sentiment using a stamp positioning tool as you’ll possibly need to stamp more than once. For the gnome card I applied Cup o Joe on the bottom and Red Royal on top. For the fairy card I used Passion Flower on bottom and Bubble Gum on top.

4. Attach the images with thin foam squares.

5. Adhere panel to an A2 card base with foam tape.

6. Add Crystal Clear Lacquer Pen to the mushrooms and Sparkle Clear Lacquer Pen to the stars and fairy dust around the fairies.

7. Use shimmer pen on the wings and windows.

8. Add tiny stars from the kit around images with liquid glue.

Though these two cards are clean and simple, I love the special little details like the two tone sentiments or the lacquer pens. Since I stamped and colored every image in the stamp set, I can make several more of these cards.

Hero Arts will give away one $50 gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday, July 11th at 11:59pm pacific, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week.

  4. Oh that gnome peeking out from behind the mushroom house is so cute! Love all your cards and I love this new release!

  5. Love the way you have the gnome peeking out from behind the house. The gnome in my garden is laughing about a “clean and simple “ gnome!

  6. Dear Jen / Jennifer (sorry, I don’t know which you prefer) –
I love both of these! The bold colors of the gnome card drew me in but then I also really liked the softer colors of the card with the fairies on it. I also noticed how you stamped the sentiments in colors coordinating w/ the images. I just love them both – SUPERB! I’m practicing for the Olympics: 10/10 for you!
