Hello! You’ve probably arrived here from the talented Chari Moss. I’m so excited to be participating in another Hero Arts My Monthly Hero release. This one is incredible! I’m sharing two cards today, another on Thursday and have one more I’m working on. Be sure to read all the way to the end for giveaway information and links to all the designers.

Pre-order your kit today – we estimate kit shipping will begin Friday, August 6th and continue throughout the following week. You can find links to all the new release products at the end of this post.

Kit Contents:

  • 4″ x 6″ Clear Stamp Set
  • Coordinating Fancy Die
  • 5.4″ Square Cling Stamp
  • 5.25″ x 6.5″ Stencil
  • 3 Liquid Watercolors (Pink, Indigo, Dandelion)
  • 6 5.5″ x 8.5″ Sheets Watercolor Paper

Kit Value: $70

Kit Cost: $34.99

1. Spray stencil from the August 2021 My Monthly Hero kit with Pixie Spray. I tried to stencil without the spray and I just made a mess. Lay stencil over a 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock.

2. Blend Reactive Ink over stencil, with each color using two sections. I didn’t tape off each section. Instead I let the ink overlap a little into the next section. I used Fruit Punch, Creamsicle, Lemon Drop, Key Lime Fizz, Spash and Grape Slush.

3. Remove the stencil and spray panel with water. Set aside to dry.

4. Stamp the top line of the sentiment with Intens-ified Black Ink. Stamp each letter of the second line with the colors of reactive ink used on the background.

5. Die cut the sentiment and a piece of Curious Metallic Black Night with a Nested Banners die. Adhere together with the black piece offset.

6. Cut the background to 4” x 5 1/4” and stamp the heart with Intense-ified Black Ink. Adhere to an A2 card base with foam adhesive.

7. Add the sentiment above the heart with thin foam squares.

8. Add stars and sequins with a drop of Sparkle Clear Lacquer Pen in center.

1. Stamp the cling stamp on a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock cut to about 6” x 6” using Embossing and Watermark Ink. Sprinkle on White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set.

2. There are eight circles in the image. Blend the following inks, one in each circle: Taffy, Fruit Punch, Creamsicle, Lemon Drop, Key Lime Fizz, Pool Party, Splash, Grape Slush. The inks will blend together where they overlap. Spray with water and set aside to dry.

3. Once dry, pick the best section and die cut with the third largest Infinity Rectangle Die.

4. Stamp the sentiment on Pitch Black cardstock and cut to size. Place on panel with foam tape.

5. Adhere panel to an A2 card base with foam tape.

6. Add clear drops with liquid glue.

I used rainbow colors today but the possibilities are endless for this kit. A human rainbow would be excellent (that’s the one I ruined). If you love My Monthly Hero kits as much as I do, subscribe so you’re guaranteed to get one! The next person in the hop is the one and only Jennifer McGuire.
