Hello! Colorado Craft Company has just release two new Big and Bold stamp and die set as well as two World of Whimsy stamp and die sets. They are beautiful, of course and so inspiring! Be sure to read to the end to find out about the giveaway and get links to all the designers in the hop.
1. Stamp the images from the Big and Bold Hibiscus Hummingbird stamp set on Neenah Solar White cardstock with Intense-ified Black Ink. Color with the following Copic markers: R30, R32, R35, R37, G21, G24, G28, BG10, BG15, BG49, YG0000, YG00, YG03. Die cut images with coordinating hummingbird and hibiscus dies (the hummingbird die is a separate purchase from the hibiscus die).
2. Stamp a panel of Neenah Solar White cardstock cut to 3 1/2” x 8 1/2” with the hibiscus stamp using Contour Ink. Fill in the background for a subtle effect.
3. Stamp the sentiment using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink.
4. Adhere hibiscus with one layer of thin foam squares and the hummingbird with two layer unless it overlaps the hibiscus. Cut off any overhanging pieces and add them to card.
5. Adhere peach colored pearls with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
6. Adhere panel to a 7” x 8 1/2” card base, scored and folded at 3 1/2” using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.
7. Add white gel pen highlights and Aqua Shimmer Pen to flowers.
8. Stamp the hibiscus on a #10 envelope front with Concord and 9th Sorbet ink.
1. Stamp the image from the Big and Bold Peonies Frame stamp set on Neenah Solar White cardstock with Intense-ified Black Ink. Color using the following Copic markers: YG17, YG03, YG00, RV32, RV34, V000, YR0000, YR00, YR02, R01, R08, YR23, BV0000, BG000
2. Die cut the center of the image with coordinating dies. I did not separate the dies. Instead, I used that space to die cut and stamp the sentiment in Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink.
3. Cut the outer edges of the image where the stamped lines end.
4. Add a piece of Arctic cardstock to a 5” x 7” card base. The cardstock needs to be larger than the opening in the image but smaller than the outer edges.
5. Mark the outer edges of the stamped image on the card base with pencil. Add a double layer of foam tape just inside the lines. Erase pencil lines.
6. Place a mix of shaker items inside the foam walls.
7. Adhere a piece of acetate behind stamped image with clear double sided adhesive. Remove the backer for the foam tape, add a line of liquid glue all the way around and place the stamped image on top. I always add liquid glue when making a shaker because I have found foam tape alone does not hold up over time.
8. Place stamped sentiment in center of acetate opening with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
9. Add a variety of colored pearls and shimmer pen over flowers.
