CutCardStock Fall-oween Blog Hop

Hello! Welcome to the CutCardStock Fall-oween Blog Hop! We are sharing various projects that are Fall and/or Halloween themed. I created a card where I changed the bright and cheerful Pop-Tone cardstock into moody cardstock. Be sure to read to the bottom for giveaway information and a link to the next person in the hop.

1. Dry emboss a piece of Stardream Metallic Antique Gold cut to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” with the Crystal Distortion Embossing Folder. Set aside.

2. Die cut the leaves from the Autumn Leaves Fancy Dies set from Pop-Tone cardstock in Tangy Orange, Lemon Drop and Red Hot.

3. Add ink to each die cut. I used Concord and 9th in Marmalade, Mushroom and Midnight. Blend ink darker at the base and one side more than the rest. I like the way dye inks soak into colored cardstock but you can use whatever you prefer. Allow to dry.

4. Die cut “thanks” from the September 2021 My Monthly Hero kit from Stardream Metallic Bronze Cardstock once and Pop-Tone Hot Fudge three times. Adhere them together using liquid glue.

5. Die cut the acorn twice each from Stardream Metallic Bronze and Antique Gold. Cut them apart. Add a thin foam square to the back and above the cut of the bottom bronze pieces. Add the gold top pieces to the overhanging foam square.

6. Place leaves on scrap paper and rub Altenew Antique Gold Pigment Ink over parts of the leaves.

7. Adhere leaves on the embossed panel into a bouquet with liquid glue. Add acorns over stems.

8. Adhere “thanks” with liquid glue below bouquet.

9. Place panel on an A2 card base. Adhere pearls throughout panel.

10. Color a small heart with R89 Copic Marker and adhere to the acorn. Curl up the edges of the leaves for more dimension.
