Hello! It’s time for another Colorado Craft Company release blog hop and giveaway. They’ve got some great new Autumn and Halloween stamps and dies for you and I just loved playing with the Halloween ones. Read to the end for details on the giveaways.

1. Cut a slimline panel to 3 1/2 x 8 1/2” from Neenah Solar White Cardstock.

2. Stamp the witch from the Lovely Legs Sitting Witch Slimline stamp set with Intense Black Ink first as if she is sitting on the end of the word. Stamp a mask and place it over image.

3. Stamp the word “wicked” in the same Copic safe ink on the panel and masking paper. Cut out and place just the thick parts of the letters. Leave the stamp in the stamp positioning tool.

4. With the images covered, blend on Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink the entire panel. Add Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink to the edges. Sprinkle on water and Perfect Pearls mixed with water. Let dry. Peal off the masks once they are dry.

5. Color the witch and the letters with Copic Markers. I used the following: V09, V12, V15, YG00, YG13, YG17, E00, E11, E13, N0, N2, N4, N8. Markers are linked below.

I had initially colored the crinoline and belt black but decided they should be green. I stamped the image on a scrap piece of Neenah Solar White Cardstock, colored what I needed then fussy cut that section and adhered it with liquid glue.

6. Once the background is thoroughly dry and the letters are colored, place the mask back on the witch. Stamp the word again with Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. Sprinkle on Sparkle Embossing Powder and heat set.

7. Stamp the other words in the greeting with Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink.

8. The spider was dulled down because of the ink blending, so I place the witch stamp back in the Misti and stamped with Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink and added Sparkle Embossing Powder. It didn’t line up perfectly but since I only stamped the spider and the web, it’s not very noticeable.

Alternatively, you could draw over it with a black pen. If you had enough Mistis, you could leave the stamp in there so it will line up correctly.

9. Swipe an embossing ink pad around the edges. Sprinkle with Sparkle Embossing Powder and heat set.

10. Adhere panel to a slimline card base. Add Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen and white pen details. Add black star confetti throughout.

1. Stamp the image from the Big and Bold Zombie Friends stamp set on a larger piece of Neenah Solar White Cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I used a 5 1/2” x 5 1/2” piece of cardstock. Stamp and fussy cut a mask as well. Leave the stamp in the stamp positioning tool.

3. Blend on Prize Ribbon, Black Soot and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Inks.

2. Die cut a circle from masking paper. Place over hand.

4. Remove circle mask and blend Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink over the circle. Sprinkle water and perfect pearls mixed with water over background. Let dry.

5. Before removing the hand mask, add white pigment ink to the moon to give it a glow.

6. Remove mask over hand and color with Copic markers. I used Y000, YG00, YG03, YG17, YG67, G28. I colored so it was lighter at the edges and darker in the middle of the hand. Markers are linked below.

7. Place panel back in Misti. Stamp with Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. Add Sparkle Embossing Powder.

8. Stamp sentiment on Pitch Black Cardstock with Embossing and Watermark Ink. Add White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. Cut into a strip.

9. Using a paper trimmer or rectangle dies, cut panel to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. Adhere to an A2 card base cut from Pitch Black cardstock.

10. Place sentiment on card with foam tape. Add black star sequins.

11. Cut a piece of white cardstock to 3 3/4” x 5”. Stamp the rest of the sentiment in black ink. Add black star sequins. Place panel inside card.

I had so much fun with these cards. I love that I incorporated so much sparkle into these Halloween cards. I love the attitude the witch seems to have and how the zombie hand looks like it’s about to dance.
