Spellbinders November Clubs Blog Hop

Hello! So glad you’re joining us for the Spellbinders November Clubs Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from Jill Hilliard. My card features the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit plus a few other glimmer plates. Be sure to read to the end for giveaway information and the link to the next person on the list.

1. Hot foil the curved border from the kit along with the sentiment on Neenah Solar White cardstock cut to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” with Gold Hot Foil Roll.

2. Hot foil the pieces from the Holiday Florals Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Die Set with Gold Hot Foil Roll on Neenah Solar White cardstock. Die cut with coordinating dies.

3. On a 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock, hot foil the Holiday Florals Background Glimmer Hot Foil Plate with Gold Hot Foil Roll in one corner.

4. Based on how much of the panel in step 3 you wish to show, die cut the curved border for the panel from step 1.

5. Rearrange the Holiday Florals Background Glimmer Hot Foil Plate on the panel from step 3 to fill in any holes that show below the curved border. Hot foil only the areas needed by placing small pieces of Gold Hot Foil Roll only where necessary.

6. Color the poinsettias with Copic markers R32, R35, R37, R39. Color the leaves with G21, G24, G28, YG67. Markers are linked below.

7. Adhere the curved border over the full panel with foam tape.

8. Add the poinsettia with thin foam squares and the leaves with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

I think leaving the curved border uncolored makes it stand out more. Alternatively, you could color only the border and leave the poinsettias uncolored. If I had planned better I would have made sure the poinsettias were in opposite corners.
