Hello! I’m so excited to be a part of day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Good Luck Charm blog hop. You should have arrived here from Emily’s blog if your following along with the hop. Have you checked out the new Good Luck Charm release? It’s full of so many amazing products, including 15 more Pawsitively Saturated Inks! Today, I’m using a new stencil and stamp set for this card.

Use the code YUM20 to receive the 3×4 Birthday Cupcake stamp free with purchase. Be sure to read to the end for giveaway information!

1. Tape the Clover Wreath Stencil to a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock cut to 6” x 6” or larger. I prefer to cut it down later.

2. Use a blender brush to add color around the wreath. Visually divide the wreath in sections and switch to the next color when necessary. Sometimes, you may need to go back to a previous section to create a better blend or to darken it up.

I used these six Pawsitively Saturated Inks: Sweets, Blush, Grapefruit, Sunbeam, Surf, Sprout

3. Next add Rainbow Mini Set of 6 Glitz Glitter Gels to each section by putting a very small amount on the palette knife and dragging out from the center. Add more if needed. Remove the stencil and set panel aside to dry.

Be very gentle when pulling the stencil off because the gel can get pulled up.

4. Once the Glitz Glitter Gel is completely dry, cut it down to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”.

5. Stamp the sentiment from Clean Line Stacks stamp set with Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink.

6. Add panel to an A2 card base and adhere jewels with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

This is a rather simple technique. I used it once before on die cuts in this blog post. The inks and gels coordinate so well!

  6. I love this. I’ve only use a stencil for maybe bricks or grass. This clover stencil is so sweet, then you put that gLitz through it and it is definitely a whole new look that I really love. I seem to think a bit of glittery non glitter dimension or texture makes the card and boy does this prove that. Love it.

  7. I absolutely love your glitter gel card–so gorgeous! Reminds me I need to use those more often. Thanks for the inspiration.

  8. This wreath stencil is my favorite, I love the way you used rainbow colors on it and with that gel…perfection!

  9. Loving that addition of the glitter gel to the centers. What a nice touch! Thanks for sharing all the inspiration!

  10. I so love this card! You made a stencil that in my mind would only work for St. Patrick’s day and made it a great wreath for all occasions by using a rainbow color pallet. I just love it!

  11. Your wreath card is so appealing! I have several varieties in my stash and your instructions are easy to follow, thank you!

  12. Was going thru Instagram and your post came up and it was so pretty and I just had to take a closer look. Love the shamrocks and the rainbow makes it perfect. Then I find out that it’s a stencil. Now you have me at SHOP!!! You did this product proud!!!
