Hello! Have you seen the beautiful Bibi’s Butterflies collection from Spellbinders and Bibi Cameron? It is absolutely beautiful and I had such a good time creating all these cards. There are also so many gorgeous creations with these dies from other designers out there. Here are three bright and colorful ones I’ve created.

1. Cut the largest butterfly from Butterfly Card Creator die set twice and the smaller one once out of Neenah Solar White cardstock.

Score the top of one largest butterfly at 1/2. Adhere only above that to the back of the other large butterfly to make the card base.

2. Blend on a rainbow of Pawsitively Saturated Ink in: Blush, Grapefruit, Sunbeam, Sprout, Surf, Sweets

3. Splatter inked image with water and white gouache. Set aside to dry

4. Die cut the butterfly body and flower centers from gold cardstock and all remaining dies from Neenah Solar White cardstock multiple times.

5. Color the leaves with Sprout ink. Color the small butterfly with Surf ink.

6. Add the rainbow butterfly to the card base created in step 1. I adhered the entire thing. I really wish I’d only adhered the center. Adhere the body.

7. Assemble and adhere the flowers to the right side of the butterfly with Bearly Arts Precision Glue. Add leaves throughout.

8. Hot foil the sentiment from Sentiments for Everyday with Copper Hot Foil Roll. Die cut from coordinating die. Cut a second blank out of gold cardstock and adhere offset to the first. Add to the card with thin foam squares.

9. Finish off the card with gold drops throughout.

1. Using the Star Bright Stencil and a blending brush, add Surf and Sweets inks to the outside and inside of a white A2 card base. Add the stencil across the inside was inspired by Nichol Spohr’s card.

2. Die cut the pieces from Pop-Up Butterfly and So Many Butterflies die sets from white cardstock. Die cut the bodies from gold cardstock.

3. Add Surf and Sweets inks to the butterflies.

4. Assemble and adhere the pop up butterfly to the inside of the card according to the instructions on the Spellbinders site.

5. Adhere the butterflies and bodies to the front of card.

6. Hot foil sentiments from Sentiments for Everyday with Copper Hot Foil Roll. Die cut with coordinating dies. Cut a second die cut for each with gold cardstock. Adhere offset and place on outside and inside of card with thin foam squares.

7. Adhere tiny star confetti the inside of the card and gold drops to the outside with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

1. Die cut the butterflies from Delicate Butterflies and Butterfly Card Creator die sets with Neenah Solar White cardstock and the bodies from gold cardstock.

2. Add the following inks to the butterflies: Blush, Grapefruit, Sunbeam, Sprout, Surf, Sweets

3. Adhere top layer and body of butterflies.

4. Cut a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock to 2 1/2” x 7 1/2” and emboss with the February Embossing Folder of the Month. Adhere to a slimline card base with foam tape.

5. Add butterflies to card with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

6. Hot foil the sentiment from Sentiments for Everyday with Copper Hot Foil Roll. Die cut from coordinating die. Cut a second blank from gold cardstock and adhere offset to the first. Add to the card with thin foam squares.

7. Adhere gold drops throughout card with liquid glue.

The beauty of these dies is that you can do so many things with them. You can make them as simple or as complex as you wish. You can make interactive cards or clean and simple or anything in between! You get to have fun, play around and see what you create.
