Hello! The Spellbinders March Large Die of the Month Club kit is so beautiful. It’s also very simple to use and create stunning cards. The black on black was inspired by a card I saw on Instagram a few weeks ago.

1. Die cut the decorative slimline die from the March Large Die of the Month Club kit four times out of Black Onyx cardstock and adhere together with Bearly Arts Precision Glue. Add to a black slimline card base.

2. Die cut the flowers from Innocent Pink, Dusty Rose, Passionate Pink, Peach Bellini and Sweet Mango cardstocks.

3. Shape, assemble and adhere flowers to card with liquid glue.

4. Die cut the sentiment included in the Limited Edition Aqua Platinum 6 Die Cutting Machine twice from black cardstock and once from gold cardstock. Adhere layers and add to card.

5. Add Metallic Gold Drops to the flower centers and throughout card base.

If you don’t have three colors of cardstock to layer but you have a light color, then color the two other layers with darker ink or markers. You could also color white cardstock with different mediums to achieve the colored layers.

There’s no need to shape the flowers. I just thought it added a bit of fun. When I do shape flowers I used Susan’s Garden Ultimate Tool Kit. You have until the 24 of March to subscribe to any of the Spellbinders Clubs so don’t wait too long or you’ll miss out on this beautiful die set!

Thanks for visiting!
