Hello! The August Hero Arts My Monthly Hero kit and add ons are perfect for my family. We love driving in the mountains so I created this fun shaker card that reminds me of summer snow in the Rocky Mountains.
1. On a 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” piece of white cardstock, add Mist Core Ink with a blending brush, applying it heavier at the top.
2. Stamp the Winding Road Heroscape with Green Hills, Pine, Charcoal and Dandelion Core Inks. Cut out with coordinating die.
3. Adhere the die cut heroscape to the ink blended panel with Precision Glue XL. Use the fancy die cut to get the proper placement.
4. Die cut the On the Road Fancy Die from white cardstock and color with copic markers (listed below).
5. Add an acetate sheet to the back of the colored fancy die. Stamp the sentiment with White Stazon Ink.
6. Adhere foam tape to the back as well making sure there are no gaps for shaker contents to escape.
7. Place the fancy die upside down in a Misti after removing foam pad. Place shaker contents. I used Mica Flakes and Prisma Glitter.
8. Remove foam tape backer and place panel upside down over fancy die. Press to adhere firmly.
9. Add the panel to an A2 card base.
You can stamp the background as one piece but that didn’t occur to me at the time. Have you followed along and entered the giveaway on the August MyMonthly Hero Blog Hop?
