Hello and Welcome to the August Colorado Craft Company Kris Lauren release! There are three new stamp sets with coordinating dies available and they are BEE-utiful! Today, I’m sharing a cute interactive card.

Colorado Craft Company is doing two giveaways again this month. First, when you use a Colorado Craft Company designer’s affiliate links, you will be entered for a chance to win the Entire August Release! When you use my affiliate links to make a purchase, I get a small commission which helps me continue to bring you great content!

To enter the second giveaway, one person from each blog or instagram post will be picked to win one set from this release. The more comments you leave, the more chances to win. The giveaways end August 18th at Midnight MST. At the bottom of this post you’ll find the list of designers.

1. On a slimline panel stamp the honey pot from the Honey Crocks stamp set at the bottom and the flowers from the Honey Jars stamp set at the top with Intense Black Ink. Mask off the flowers and stamp the leaves. Color with copic markers. Marker colors are listed and linked below.

2. Stamp the bee girl, the bee, honey and stick on Neenah Solar White Cardstock with Intense Black Ink. Color all images with copic markers. Die cut with coordinating dies.

3. Add clouds to the panel with cloud stencil and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. You could mask off the images on the panel but I just was careful not to ink too close.

4. Add grass with either copic markers, Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide or both. I used both to give a shadow under the honey pot.

5. Stamp the sentiment in Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink.

6. Adhere the girl on an Action Wobbler.

7. Add the bee, stick and honey with foam squares at the top and Bearly Arts Precision Glue to the honey on the ground.

8. Cover the honey in Glossy Accents. I love how this turned out!

9. Add shimmer pen to wings and crown, black glaze pen to bee’s eye and white gel pen highlights.

10. Place panel on an slimline card base and adhere Magic Gold Jewels to flower centers.

Remember to use my Colorado Craft Company affiliate links to be entered to win the entire collection. Leave me a comment below for a chance to win one set from this release.

  1. Your card is so sweet. The use of an action wobblers is so cute.(I had no clue about action wobblers) I am learning so much. Thank you

    1. Sweet and very very sasssssy. These images have such crisp lines and details that really gives a storybook feeling to the card. Very very sweet.

  2. I love the way this stamp set comes to life. You can see the fairy is waiting a while before going to lend a helping hand as the bee struggles to lift that heavy honey spoon.

  3. I love slimline cards, and yours has some fabulous touches like the glossy accents on the honey and the shimmer on the wings and crown.

  4. Such a stunning card! I love it, lots of inspiration now by your card, I sure will try to do clouds on the background. That even makes this card more outstanding.

  6. I love your card. The Copic coloring is so flawless and the soft clouds in the background is just lovely. My favorite part of the card is the little fairy girl on the action wobbler.

  7. I was the winner of the stamp set you gave away for this blog. I want to thank you so much for both sharing your talent, and your generosity. This set was the one I chose.
