Hero Arts September 2022 My Monthly Hero Blog Hop & Giveaway

Hello! The September 2022 My Monthly Hero kit and add ons from Hero Arts are now available. There are two more hot foil plates in this release as well! I love all things autumn so I’ve got five cards to share with you today.

Pre-order your kit today – we estimate kit shipping will begin Friday, September 9th and continue throughout the following week.

Autumn is a whisper in the air, with hints of cooler weather, falling leaves, and rich colors. Our September My Monthly Hero release takes an elegant path into fall, featuring a gorgeous vase of fall blooms as the focal point for your cards and projects. There’s also a fun new element this month – rub-ons! Use them for quick and easy cards; the coordinating die in the kit perfectly cuts out the rub-on floral arrangement as well as the stamped images. Or try the rub-ons on any smooth surface. The kit is rounded out with a gorgeous new cling stamp, metallic floss and the perfect neutral cardstocks for stamping your autumn-inspired creations.

1. Stamp the cling stamp from September My Monthly Hero kit with Embossing and Watermark Ink. Sprinkle on Gold Embossing Powder and heat set.

The Hammermill cardstock did not take the ink as well as the Neenah cardstock does.

1. Hot foil a piece of Hammermill cardstock with the Fall Leaves Hot Foil Plate and Copper Hot Foil Roll.

2. Add Plum, Cranberry, Papaya and Butter Bar Core Inks with a blending brush. Wipe off excess ink from hot foiling with a cloth and cut down to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”.

  3. Great projects! I’m blown away by the one with the gold embossed background stamping and the plum to yellow blending. It just seems to glow! I’ve got to try that.

  4. Wow! What a beautiful variety of cards! I love the blended background with the gold embossing. So elegant. The colorful 3D flowers really pop on the foiled wreath and the stenciled card. They are so pretty!

  6. Wow, that light blue / walnut brown combo in card #1 is super-classy. Your coloring of the floral arrangement is BRILLIANT. Love the use of the background stamp as wallpaper behind the urn. In card #2, looooove the gold embossing with that beautiful ink blending. Also think the choice of eggplant band is genius. The last two cards are amazing! Congrats — you’ve convinced me that I need the hot foil plate and stencil of the autumn leaves. Is this a “Jennabler” situation… different Jennifer but same permission to order? C’mon, Jennifer… LMK.Thanks for sharing your exceptional talent.
