Hello! I just love the new Tinsel Time Collection from Spellbinders. There are interactive dies and full background glimmer plates and the sentiments are so cute and clever. I’m sharing how I used the Dancin Snowman as an interactive element and a stationary one.

My intention had also been to use the glimmer plates on all four cards, two with negative foiling. Unfortunately, I placed the leftover foiling on my plate upside down and now I have to figure out how to get foiling all my plate!

1. Emboss the Argyle Embossing Folder on Spellbinders cardstock cut to 4” x 5 1/4”. Adhere to an A2 card base.

2. Die cut the pieces from Dancin Snowman out of a variety of Spellbinders cardstocks and White Glitter Foam and assemble using thin foam squares and Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

3. Die cut the sentiment from Tinsel Time Sentiments die set out of White Glitter Foam and the shadow from colored cardstock.

4. Add sentiment and snowman to the card. If you are making the legs swing make sure there’s no adhesive on the legs or bottom of snowman.

5. Add Silver Smooth Disc Sequins with liquid glue.

1. Hot foil a piece of white cardstock with the Starburst Glimmer Plate and Red Hot Foil Roll. At same time hot foil sentiment from Christmas Magic Glimmer Plates. Cut cardstock to 4” x 5 1/4” and adhere to an A2 card base.

2. Die cut the Stylish Merry Christmas die from White Glitter Foam and Phone Booth cardstock and add to card with thin foam squares. Add sentiment as well.

3. Die cut the leaves from Winter Welcome Sled die set and the cardinal from Tweet Cardinal die set, assemble and adhere to card.

4. Add Fashion Poppy Pearls.

1. Hot foil a piece of white cardstock with the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Plate and Red Hot Foil Roll. Cut to 4” x 5 1/4” and adhere to an A2 card base.

2. Die cut the gnome from Holly Jolly Gnome die set out of Spellbinders cardstocks. Color his beard and nose then assemble with thin foam squares and liquid glue.

3. Die cut the sentiments from Tinsel Time Sentiments die set out of White Glitter Foam and Phone Booth cardstock and assemble.

4. Adhere sentiments and gnome to card with Bearly Arts Precision Glue and thin foam squares.

5. Add Scarlet Smooth Disc Sequins across card.

I tried to get out of my comfort zone and use different colors for the first two cards but I do love the simple red and white of the last two better. What are your thoughts?

Thanks for visiting!
