Hello! When I first saw that Zsoka Marko was releasing the Winter Tales Collection with Spellbinder, I knew I had to have the entire set. Unfortunately, I had a little delay due to a sick puppy but today, I’m sharing eight cards made using the Winter Tales Collection!

All cardstock used on these cards is from Spellbinders and is listed and linked at the end of the post.

I began by die cutting most of the pieces from the Folk Song, Enchanted Garden, Magic Deer and Nordic die sets. The Magic Deer and Folk Song die sets I had an idea of what colors I wanted to use but things evolved as I went on.

Next I laid out cards I thought would look good and decided which ones would work with the Ski Lodge Embossing Folder and which would not.

The pieces were assembled with thin foam squares and Bearly Arts Precision Glue, depending on which worked.

Ideally, those pieces that were adhered flat would have been die cut multiple times for extra dimension, but life and the desire to conserve cardstock overruled.

The sentiments from the Peace and Joy stamp set were all stamped with Embossing and Watermark Ink then sprinkled with White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. I cut them into strips and adhered with foam tape.

I cut so many pieces, I have plenty left over for future cards. I have a few started, including one using the “PEACE” stamps I haven’t finished yet.

Unfortunately, since I was delayed in getting this posted, much of the Winter Tales Collection is currently sold out. You can click “notify me when in stock” on most websites to be one of the first to know it is in stock. Also, I will share on my social media and here when it’s in stock again.

Thanks for visiting!

  1. This is an awesome collection and I want it all. The reindeer is my fave and I love how you’ve done it in shades of blue. Thanks for all the wonderful inspiration.
