Simon Says Stamp Holiday Sparkle Blog Hop Day 2

Hello and welcome to day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Holiday Sparkle release blog hop and giveaway! My projects feature the same embossing folder used in two different ways. Be sure to read to the end for giveaway information and for the link to the next designer in the hop.

1. Die cut the largest Bulb Ornament Infinity Dies twice out of white cardstock. Die cut just the top portion twice from gold cardstock. Cut it straight across to use as the ornament topper.

2. Emboss one ornament with the Hedge Berries Embossing Folder.

3. Adhere the two ornaments together and add the toppers. If you want to add anything on the back of the tag do it now or before adhering these pieces together.

4. Die cut the Fruitful Berries die three times from white cardstock. Add Rose Pawsitively Saturated ink for the berries and Aspen and Sage Inks for the leaves to one set of die cuts.

5. Adhere the pieces together and then adhere just the extra stem pieces to the back of the colored one.

6. Add Glossy Accents to the berries and set aside to dry.

7. Stamp the sentiment from Magical Christmas using Rose Pawsitively Saturated Ink and die cut with Sentiment Labels dies.

8. Once the Fruitful Berries pieces are dry, adhere to the embossed side of the tag with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

9. Add the sentiment label to the tag by wrapping gold thread around it around the top of the tag and tying off. Add ribbon to the tag.

20. Add white gel pen highlights.

1. Emboss a 4” x 5 1/4” piece of Charcoal cardstock with the Hedge Berries Embossing Folder. Place panel on an A2 card base.

2. Add Earl Pawsitively Saturated ink starting at the bottom right corner going up diagonally. The add Charcoal ink part way up to darken the corner.

3. Die cut the branch from the Hedge Berries Embossing Folder out of white cardstock then emboss it.

4. Color the die cut with copic markers. Colors are listed and linked below.

5. Stamp the sentiment from the All About You stamp set on white cardstock using Cherry Pawsitively Saturated Ink. Cut out with coordinating die plus die cut three times from white cardstock. Adhere together.

6. Adhere the embossed die cut and sentiment to the panel with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

7. Place clear iridescent jewels around die cut. Add white gel pen highlights.

  12. I like to Invision bouquets of flowers using my die cuts, but I always fall short with the “baby breath” type of fillers. These berry leaves are just the ticket. The glossy accent is so realistic. Great tag!
