Hero Arts January My Monthly Hero Countdown

Hello! I’m joining in the countdown to the release of the January My Monthly Hero kit. Such a fun love themed kit with unique dies and stamps. Be sure to read to the end for a giveaway and come back Monday for the January My Monthly Hero release!

1. Add Ultra Pink Core ink over the stencil from the kit on a 4” x 5 1/4” piece of white cardstock. Adhere to an A2 card base with foam tape.

2. Die cut the matchbox pocket, insert and heart from the kit out of Azalea, Peony and Cranberry Cardstock. Die cut the matches from Peony and Cranberry and the ring from gold mirror and silver glitter cardstock.

3. Cut off the top of the matches from the Cranberry Cardstock and adhere to the Peony die cuts. Add a layer of Sparkle Clear Lacquer Pen and let dry.

4. Emboss the large sentiment on the front of the matchbox with White Detail Embossing Powder. Stamp the tiny sentiment on the side in Azalea Core Ink.

5. Stamp the sentiment on the insert in Azalea Core Ink. Adhere the heart to the top of the matchstick piece and the ring pieces together below the sentiment.

6. Fold the matchbox on the score lines to the left and right and adhere to the card with strong adhesive tape. I also added a piece at the bottom.

7. Place insert in pocket and add matches with Precision Glue XL and foam squares.
