It’s the first Colorado Craft Company release blog hop and giveaways of 2023! There are three 6 x 6 stamps, one 3 x 4 and one 2 x 3 unique Anita Jeram stamps. You can order the Complete Bundle or the Stamp Only Bundle as well. There are also coordinating dies that I used in a fun way today.

Giveaways

Use a Colorado Craft Company designer’s affiliate links to make a purchase and you will be entered for a chance to win the Entire Release! When you use my affiliate links to make a purchase, I get a small commission which helps me continue to bring you great content!

One person from each blog or instagram post comments section will be picked to win one set from this release. The more comments you leave, the more chances to win. The giveaways end February 2nd at Midnight MST. At the bottom of this post you’ll find the list of designers.

1. Stamp the image from Mermaid and Penguins stamp set on white cardstock cut to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” with Intens-ified Black Ink.

2. Color the scene with Copic Markers. The colors I used are listed and linked below. I kept things mostly monochromatic with a brighter blue green color for the mermaid than for the background.

3. Use the blender marker to remove some color from the bubbles and recolonize with BG15.

4. Die cut the mermaid from the panel with the Mermaid and Penguins Dies then three times from white cardstock. Adhere together, cutting off the extra tail part after each layer. Color the sides of the die cut stack with BG75 to make the scene blend together.

5. Die cut the largest Fluted Classics Rectangle die Outer Rim, Insert and Inner Rim from of white cardstock. Line up white the colored panel and tape die to cut from frame in the same spot.

6. Adhere the panel to a top fold A2 card base with Bearly Arts Precision Glue, using the die cut mermaid for placement. Add the cut outs to card then adhere mermaid. You may need to remove the mermaid to get the cutouts properly placed.

7. Adhere the frame with foam strips.

8. Add black glaze pen to eyes, Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard to mermaid and Glossy Accents to bubbles. Set aside to dry.

9. Die cut sentiment from Wonderful Script Sentiments dies out of Teal Glitter Foam and the shadow from white cardstock. Adhere together with liquid glue. Add to card with foam strips.

  11. Popping up both the penguin & the mermaid really added a lot to the card’s movement. Overlapping over the sides also added to the movement.
