Spellbinders February Stitching Die and 3D Embossing Folder of the Month

Hello! The February Clubs from Spellbinders are now live and I’ve got two cards to share with you today featuring several clubs but especially the February Stitching Die of the Month Club and the February 3D Embossing Folder of the Month. These clubs sold out quickly last month and we don’t know what’s going to happen this month. Keep a close eye on them if you are interested and see next paragraph for more information.

If you are a new subscriber, you will be able to sign up for the kits after the 6th of the month if there is still inventory available. Current subscribers will be charged on the 5th and can cancel until the 4th.

1. Die cut the pieces from the February Stitching Die of the Month Club using Wild Berry, Pink Sand, Fruit Punch, Fern and Dune cardstock.

2. Stitch dies using coordinating floss. Stitch the Dune pocket with a light pink floss.

3. Emboss a mini slimline panel cut from Dune cardstock with the February Embossing Folder of the Month. Add Azalea Core Ink at the edges, getting lighter toward the center. Place on a mini slimline card base.

4. Adhere the pocket to the card using thin foam squares at the bottom and lower sides only.

5. Begin adding stitched flowers and greenery to the pocket, adding the stitched item with thin foam squares. When finished, slide thin foam squares under edge of pocket.

6. Die cut the sentiment from and adhere to pocket. You can find additional sentiments in the Pocket Full of Spring Sentiments that coordinates with this months Stitching Club.

7. Add Fashion Taupe Color Essential Pearl Dots to the center of the flowers and throughout card.

1. Apply Azalea Core Ink to to flat/debossed side of the February 3D Embossing Folder of the Month. Emboss a piece of 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” white cardstock. Add to an A2 card base with strong adhesive tape.

2. Die cut the flowers from the February Stitching Die of the Month Club out of white cardstock. Stitch with a coordinating pink floss.

3. Hot foil the sentiment included in the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month Club with Bright Pink Hot Foil Roll. Cut into a strip.

4. Adhere flowers and place on card with Bearly Arts Precision Glue. Add sentiment with a foam strip.

I love the way the ink pooled in some of the grooves of the embossing folder. It did not cover all of the flat areas evenly but I don’t think that matters too much. The overall effect really pops!
