Hero Arts April My Monthly Hero Countdown Day 2

Hello! Iā€™m joining in the countdown to the release of the April My Monthly Hero kits. Be sure to read to the end for a giveaway and come back Monday for the April My Monthly Hero release!

1. On a piece of 4 1/4ā€ x 5 1/2ā€ piece of white cardstock, add red ink starting in the center and fading out.

2. Use the stencil included in the Premium kit and the same ink to add detail to the background. Splatter Shimmer Spray on panel. Adhere to an A2 card base.

3. Die cut the vases, stems and flowers from the Premium kit.

4. Color the die cuts with core inks. Use the stencil again to add tone on tone detail to the vases.

5. Stamp the sentiment from the Classic Kit using red ink and cut out with coordinating die.

6. Adhere the stems flat to the card with Precision Glue XL and the other pieces, plus the sentiment with foam squares.

7. Add the enamel dots throughout card and to flower center.

The pink and orange color scheme is a favorite of mine, and with the green is so “spring!” Thank you too for being one of the designers who shares the details of how you created it, because I enjoyed seeing that in fact it was the clever use of a stencil that resulted in a stunning card! Your’s is the one that caught my attention on this kit!
