Scrapbook.com Artis Glue

Scrapbook.com sent me their new Artis Craft Glue to try out along with a few other goodies. I normally use another popular liquid glue because of the size of the bottle, it’s refillable and most importantly, the ultra fine metal tip allows just enough glue out. Watch this video for more information.

I admit, I never use the other tips and didn’t here because I always let too much glue out with anything but the ultra fine tip. So I gave the new Artis Craft Glue from Scrapbook.com a workout with not only a lot of hexagons to place but with the thin die cut background and sentiment. You can watch a quick reel on my Instagram page of creating this card.

1. Die cut the Honeycomb A2 Plate three times from white cardstock. Cut the plate again from ten pieces of the 6 x 8 Sunny Lane Patterned Cardstock Paper Pad.

I only cut a small strip of each pad, enough for the background. If you cut the entire die, you could make a lot of these cards!

2. Adhere only one background die cut to an A2 card base with Artis Craft Glue.

3. Inlay all of the pattern paper die cuts on the card base using Artis Craft Glue.

The Artis Craft Glue gave me enough time to fix any mistakes before it dried.

4. Adhere the other two Honeycomb die cut layers with Artis Craft Glue.

5. Die cut the Oversized Happy die three times from Spellbinders Waterfall Cardstock. Adhere together with Artis Craft Glue.

6. Stamp “birthday” from the Oversized Happy stamp and die set and the additional stamp from Sunshiney Day stamp set with Paradise Core Ink. Cut into a strips.

7. Create dots from Sky Blue Pops of Color on a separate scrap of adhesive backer. I replaced the regular tip with a spare ultra fine tip. Let dry.

8. Adhere the die cut to the card with Artis Craft Glue. Add both additional sentiments with foam strips.

9. Remove the Pops of Color from the backer and add to the card with a small amount of Artis Craft Glue.

The new Artis Craft Glue from Scrapbook.com is great! It also dries clear, so if a little seeps out, it’s not noticeable. Plus it’s not sticky and wipes away nicely.

Have you used Artis Craft Glue yet? Let me know what you think in the comments.
