Spellbinders New Wax Seal and BetterPress Clubs

I was so excited when I heard Spellbinders was introducing two new clubs in July! First is the Wax Seal Club where you’ll receive an exclusive wax seal plus wax beads each month. The second is the BetterPress Club where you’ll receive an exclusive BetterPress Plate each month. Of course for each you will need the Wax Seal Starter Kit and the BetterPress System.

This card 2as inspired by Mindy Eggen’s recent BetterPress videos.

1. Add Seafoam Pawsitively Saturated Ink to the bottom right corner of Porcelain BetterPress A2 Cotton Card Panel going diagonally towards the top left but fading out a little over halfway.

2. Place the July BetterPress Plate of the Month on the magnetic platform (the Chase) and ink up with the same Seafoam Ink. Tape the cardstock to the clear top plate (the Platen). Make Letterpress sandwich and run through Platinum 6. This is not the recommended ink so it won’t give as crisp an inking but I was going for a softness.

3. Place the sentiment from the July BetterPress Plate of the Month on the chase before removing the first plate so it’s lined up. Remove frame plate and ink sentiment with Cosmic Sky BetterPress Ink. Run through Platinum 6.

4. Remove cardstock and cut to 4 x 5 1/4”. Adhere to an A2 card base with foam tape.

5. Finish card with a few Teal Opalescent Sequins.

1. Create Wax seal using Classic Crimson Wax Beads and the July Wax Seal of the Month. Once cool, add DecoColor Premium Gold Metallic Marker to raised areas.

2. Emboss a piece of Crimson Cardstock with the July 3D Embossing Folder of the Month. Ink the edges with Cranberry Core Ink. Adhere to an A2 card base.

3. Die cut stems, leaves and berries from the July Large Die of the Month from Forest Cardstock and Gold Mirror Cardstock. Ink the edges of the leaves with Pine Pawsitively Saturated Ink.

4. Adhere berries to stems and stems and leaves to card with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

5. Finish card with Gold Sequins.

If you’re interested in either of these clubs, head over to Spellbinders. They are now available for anyone to subscribe. When they sell out, this months products will not be available again.
