August Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Countdown Day 3

Hello! I’m joining in the countdown to the release of the August My Monthly Hero kits. Be sure to read to the end for a giveaway and come back Monday for the August My Monthly Hero release!

1. Cut the transfers and backer paper included in the Premium Kit into individual images.

2. Place image with backer paper removed on white cardstock and use included stick to rub image until fully transferred. Repeat to fill the entire panel.

If an image hangs off the edge place the backer paper under the overhang and once transfer is complete rub along the edge to cut the image off. Use these pieces to fill in around the edges.

3. Trim panel to 4 x 5 1/4” and adhere to an A2 card base with foam tape.

4. Emboss the sentiment on Palm cardstock with Gold Embossing Powder. Cut in a strip and ink up the edges with Forever Green Core Ink.

5. Mat the sentiment with Mist Cardstock and adhere to card with thin foam squares.

  2. I haven’t used the transfers as yet. I’m loving how they look as a background. I may have to rethink some others that I have as well. Thanks for showing this. The card looks so bright and cheery!

  4. When I see you cacti card the first thing that came to mind was Cinco de Mayo. A perfect background to create cards and decor to celebrate all things Mexican!
