Spellbinders Bibi’s Snowflakes Collection

I created three fun cards using the new Bibi’s Snowflakes from Spellbiners that I’m sharing today. My daughter requested the rainbow snowflake. I think it turned out pretty good. The pop up card is so easy to create and works so well. I also thought it would be fun to combine an older butterfly die with these new products.

1. Die cut the Snowflake Card Creator twice from white cardstock. I didn’t do it, but it would be a good idea to back each piece of cardstock with Stick It or some other double sided adhesive sheet before cutting. Adding liquid to each die cut was not the most efficient way to go about things.

2. Leave die cut in cardstock and add a rainbow of Distress Oxide Inks. All inks are listed and linked below.

3. Die cut the snowflake shadow twice from white cardstock, score one just below the snowflake arms. This one is the back piece. Adhere together above the fold only.

4. Adhere the two snowflakes together and add to the shaped card.

5. Add a hot foiled sentiment from the Comfort and Joy Glimmer Plate set. Cut out and adhere with thin foam squares.

1. Die cut the Delicate Snowflakes from White Glitter Foam and white cardstock.

2. Add Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink to a card panel and the cardstock snowflakes.

3. Adhere a glitter snowflake to an inked snowflake and arrange throughout panel.

4. Add a hot foiled sentiment from Comfort and Joy Glimmer Plate set and place jewels throughout.

5. Die cut the snowflakes from the Pop-Up Snowflake and add Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide. Repeat foe the die cut sentiment.

6. Follow assembly instructions provided on the Pop Up Snowflake page on the Spellbiners website.

1. Hot foil the Glimmering Snowflakes multiple across a half sheet of Hammermill Cardstock with Aura Hot Foil Roll.

2. Die cut the hot foiled panel with the Butterfly Card Creatoru and add Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide to the butterfly.

4. Die cut the same butterfly plus the smaller together from White Glitter Foam. Add the frame this creates to the butterfly.

5. Die cut excess butterflies and place throughout using thin foam squares.

6. Fold an 8 1/2 x 11” piece of white cardstock then place the butterfly so that the cut line for the wings hangs over the fold.

7. Add butterfly to shaped card then place then die cut the body from White Glitter Foam and white cardstock. Adhere together then add to card.

8. Add the hot foiled sentiment and jewels throughout.

The Butterfly Card Creator is discontinued but Simon Says Stamp still has it.

Thanks for visiting!
