Simon Says Stamp Season of Wonder Release

Simon Says Stamp has a new release out today called Season of Wonder. There’s a perfect mix of autumn and Christmas products with some great year round ones as well. The 3D Box Stencil I used today can be a. It tricky but once you get the hang of it, it’s really terrific! There are so many ways to use it as well.

1. Create the background using the 3D Box Stencils. I stenciled the second stencil first using Flannel, Earl and Charcoal Pawsitively Saturated Inks repeating when necessary. You need to rotate the stencil four times then flip it over and rotate it four times again to fill the background. Place first stencil and add rows of rainbow colors.

2. Stamp the image from Its Your Birthday stamp set. Color with OLO Markers. Cut out with coordinating dies or fussy cut as I did here.

3. Cut the inked panel down to 4 x 5 1/4”. Cut a piece of plastic packaging to 1” larger than panel. Add double sided adhesive tape to the back of the panel on each side. Remove 3 sides and adhere plastic. Fill with sequins then close fourth side.

4. Heat emboss sentiment with white embossing powder on charcoal cardstock. Cut into a strip.

5. Add the panel to an A2 card base. Add sentiment strip and image.
