The June 2023 My Monthly Hero Kit was one of two favorite kits chosen by Hero Arts fans. They released those products in the Spring Catalog just last week. I’m sharing a quick card here and all seven of the cards I made for the release.

Leave me a comment by February 29th for a chance to win the Color Layering Seashells Stencil and the Tropical Foliage Window Die. One person will win both products. There will not be two winners. Open to U.S. residents only.
1. Stamp the Color Layering Sunset Over Waves using Nautical and Summer Sky Core Inks. Stamp the last layer and sun with Lemon Drop Reactive Ink.
2. Brush Perfect Pearls over the reflection layer. Cut out with coordinating dies.
3. Die cut the Tropical Foliage Window Die from Black Glitter Cardstock. I suggest using a shim since there are some intricate details.
4. Ink a piece of Periwinkle Cardstock with Pitch Black Core Ink to the top and down sides. Then blend in more fading to the cardstock color with Nautical Core Ink. Adhere to an A2 card base.
5. Add the stamped layer and sun then the die cut window over it.
6. Heat emboss the sentiment from Color Layering Sunset Over Waves with White Detail Embossing Powder on Pitch Black Cardstock then cut into a strip. Adhere with foam strips.

I love these tropical beach scenes and the pretty shell cards too! Awesome colors and details on each one! The designs remind me of ‘home’, where I used to live on the central coast of CA.
