Spellbinders New BetterPress Ink Colors

Ink the entire Press Plate with one ink color and make four of these cards by switching up colors.

Spellbinders is introducing two new BetterPress Ink Sets! Each card I’m sharing today’s features all of the inks from one new set. The butterfly card was particularly fun and I love how the green on the second card sets off the pink flowers.

1. Use the Tropical BetterPress Ink Mini Set colors to ink each butterfly from the Butterfly Swirl Press Plate and Die Set and run through Platinum 6 Die Cutting Machine. Cut out with coordinating dies.

2. Emboss a panel of white cardstock with the Flowers and Foliage 3D Embossing Folder.

3. Attach the negative from the die cutting to the embossed panel with low tack tape the way you wish the butterflies to appear. Place the butterflies in the negative space with a line of glue down the center. Remove negative once glue dries.

4. Impress and cut out a sentiment from You Are Everything Sentiments Press Plate and Die Set with Black BetterPress Ink on Porcelain Cotton BetterPress cardstock.

5. Adhere sentiment to panel with thin foam squares and cut down to 4 x 5 1/4” then adhere to an A2 card base.

This card is quite simple. Using the registration acetate sheet, ink up each press plate from Blooming Garden Press Plates with ink from the Jet Set BetterPress Ink Mini Set. Cut panel down to 3 3/4 x 5” and adhere to a 4 x 5 1/4” piece of Fruit Punch cardstock. Place on an A2 card base.
