Spellbinders Let’s Celebrate from Yana Smakula

Spellbinders has released another collection from Yana Smakula called Let’s Celebrate and it is beautiful! The press plate backgrounds helped me make six flowery cards.

This clean and simple card uses Floral Celebration Press Plate and Stencil Bundle along with the Let’s Celebrate Sentiments. I used Distress Oxide Inks with the stencil to add color.

This card uses the same Floral Celebration Press Plate as above but I hot foiled it with Aura Hot Foil Roll. The Peony Celebration Die cuts are colored with Distress Oxide Inks then I cut a second time, keeping only the outline. I cut off the leaves and laid it over the color dies. I created the wax seal with the Let’s Celebrate Wax Seal Stamp and Magenta Wax Beads.

I saved the leftover foiling from the previous card and hot foiled it using the back of a large glimmer plate. It did not come out perfect but the flowers covered up most of the imperfections. the sentiment is from Let’s Celebrate Sentiments.

This card uses the Peony Background Press Plate hot foiled using Aura Hot Foil Roll. I colored the flowers with OLO Markers and added a sentiment from Let’s Celebrate Sentiments.

I created this background by inking the Peony Background Press Plate using Strawberry, Garnet and Apricot then used with BetterPress System. I combined two sentiments from the Let’s Celebrate Sentiments to finish card.

I used the Celebrate Flowers Registration Press Plates on this card along with Strawberry, Apricot and Tuscan BetterPress Inks for the letter and Black BetterPress Ink for the flowers. I cut the panel out using the Nestabilities Labels Eight Etched Dies then added it to a panel created like the previous card. I tucked parts of a Peony Celebration die cut around then added a small sentiment from Let’s Celebrate Sentiments.

I chose not to add any embellishments to these card. I thought they were striking on their own. I love that I can create two (or even three!) background using the press plates.

Check out the entire March release at Spellbinders. Thanks for visiting!
