Hero Arts May 2026 My Monthly Hero

Here’s another card from the May My Monthly Hero from Hero Arts. This one only uses the My Monthly Hero and not the May My Monthly Super Hero. I pulled in some stencils for a subtle background and to add some fun to the gift box.

1. Stencil a panel of Seaside ColorWheel Cardstock using the May Stencil of the Month from Spellbinders and a variety of inks listed and linked below.

2. On a panel of white cardstock stencil the Dancing Lines Stencil using Arctic Core Ink. Cut to 4 x 5 1/4” and splatter with Raven Splatter Effects. Let dry.

3. Die cut the base of the gift box included in the May My Monthly Hero out of the stenciled panel from step 1.

4. Cut the lid from Waterfall ColorWheel Cardstock and the bow from Teal Topaz and Blue Spruce ColorWheel Cardstock.

5. Adhere the white stenciled panel to a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2” panel of Waterfall ColorWheel Cardstock then to an A2 card base.

6. Assemble the box and adhere to card using thin foam adhesive.

7. Die cut tags from May My Monthly Hero then stamp sentiments with Bermuda Core Ink. Adhere to gift box.

8. Stamp large sentiment with Bermuda Core Ink on bottom and Paradise Core Ink at the top. Cut out with coordinating die and cut out of a panel of Blue Spruce ColorWheel Cardstock. Adhere offset then to card with thin foam squares and liquid glue where it overlaps gift box.

9. Finish card with a few Aquas Enamel Dots.
