The June My Monthly Hero from Hero Arts features a fun pool that makes a great shaker and fills most of a page. There’s all sorts of accessories as well. Head over to Instagram for the June My Monthly Hero Instagram Hop and leave a comment there for a chance to win a $25 gift card.
1. Use the layering stencils included in the June My Monthly Hero to stencil a panel of Seaside ColorWheel Cardstock using Arctic, Paradise and Bermuda Core Inks.
2. Use the Check Please Stencil over Dahlia ColorWheel Cardstock with Azalea Core Ink.
3. Die cut the pool from the June My Monthly Hero out of the Dahlia panel. Cut the pool frame out of Antique White Glitter Cardstock.
4. Cut an acetate sheet to 4 x 5 1/4” and adhere behind dahlia panel. Adhere pool frame over the acetate.
5. Flip panel then add foam adhesive around pool with no gaps. Add foam adhesive the rest of the panel as well.
6. Fill the well created with foam adhesive with Frosty Sequins Mix then place seaside stenciled panel over dahlia.
7. Die cut floats, ball and flip flops from various ColorWheel Cardstock colors. Assemble and adhere to card front.
8. Stamp sentiment using Bermuda and Paradise Core Inks. Cut out with coordinating die. Cut three extra and here together then to card front.
